This is a capstone project.
Runnin’ Dry is a 2D roguelite card game inspired by the Roaring ’20s, featuring stylized characters, animated combat, and expressive visuals. I joined the project during the second half of development and contributed across character art, animation, and visual polish.
I designed main and side characters, bosses, and UI icons, created character and item animations, and developed visual effects to enhance gameplay feedback. I worked closely with the existing art team, adapting my style to match the established look of the game and updating older assets to fit new levels and mechanics. I also assisted with implementing and adjusting animations in Unity to ensure everything worked and felt right in-game.
