Bloom Boom is a cute, kid-friendly cooking and adventure game created during an intensive 3–4 week summer course. Because of the very short timeline, I ended up taking on most of the development work and building the game largely on my own.
I came up with the core idea and designed the levels, set up the environment, lighting, and gameplay systems, and taught myself Unreal Engine and Blueprints during production. I implemented player actions, dialogue, environment interactions, camera behavior, menus, and overall game flow. I also created all of the 2D UI and drew the main menu art myself, while using free-to-use 3D assets to stay within scope.
Although the project is unfinished and rushed due to time limits, it represents a project I’m very proud of. It shows my ability to learn new tools quickly, take full ownership of a game project, and deliver a playable experience under tight deadlines.
