Fan-art illustrations and custom commissions
First piece is D.VA from Overwatch, second and third are people’s characters from the game Alicia Online that they commissioned me to draw. Here I experimented with shading and lighting. I was given a low-res photo and description of what they wanted and turned it into digital art piece.
Menu Backgrounds
First piece was an assignment for my digital art class. Focused on realistic shading, lighting and scenery. Second is a main screen I drew for a console children’s game. And lastly, a 3D-inspired (but completely 2D) piece I created for my horror game project “Lilith”. It was a menu background and could be slightly animated as well.
Art practice and more commissions
I love to experiment with different styles and techniques with which I approach character art. These 3 pieces look a little different from the first 3 on top. Here I used more clear lineart and sharper, flatter-looking shadows. My goal was to recreate a traditional anime style with my own style additions.
Work in progress
This is going to be another fan-art with more characters and a decent amount of background. My goal is to create an immersive scene with clear setting, mood, and eye-catching detail. I start with black and white values to figure out my shading first and then add color from there.
